Alternate Room Schedule

7:00 a.m. Arrival, Wellness check/Hand wash – Preschool room upstairs
Child chooses area to play in
8:00-8:05 a.m. Transition to home room (downstairs) dependent on ratios of children to
staff. Hand washing/washroom
8:15 – 8:45 a.m. Morning Snack Time (followed by hand washing/washroom)
8:45- 9.00 a.m. Cubby Transition / Getting ready for Outdoor play
9:00-10:00 a.m. – Outdoor Play
10.00-10:10 am – Cubby followed by hand washing
10:10 – 11:05 am Circle Time/ Programming/learning activities
11:05 – 11:15 Hand washing/washroom
11:15-12:00 noon Lunch time.
12:00 – 12:15 p.m. Hand washing, washroom (one at a time)
12:15 – 2:15 p.m. Rest time
(Quiet activities are offered to those children that do not require rest)
2:15 -2:45 p.m. – Snack Time
Washroom, hand washing
Cubby Transition/
2:45– 3:45: p.m. Outdoor play (small groups staggering within 5 to 10 mins)
3:45-4:00 p.m. Cubby, hand washing, washroom, water offered
4:00 – 4:30 p.m. Open ended activities
4:30 – 4:45 p.m. Combine with Preschool room upstairs depending on ratios
4:45 6:00 p.m. Quiet Activities (puzzles, books etc.) upstairs Preschool room
6:00 pm – Dismissal from Preschool room
