SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY

TODDLER ROOM 1 UPSTAIRS

7:30 am Arrival in Pre-school room or based on ratios arrival in Toddler Room 1
Hand wash as soon as child comes in room
Child chooses area to play

7:45 am-8:15 am Transition to home room from Preschool room depending on the ratio of
children to staff or if already in home room. Check diapers. Hand washing.

8:15am-8:45 am Morning snack time followed by hand washing/Diaper Change if required

8:45am- 9:00 am Group A Cubby Transition / Getting ready for Outdoor play

9:00am – 10:00 am Group A Outdoor play (approx. 1 hour based on weather conditions)

9:00am- 9:45 am Group B Programming/ Activities / Circle Time

9:45am – 10:00 am Group B Cubby Transition/ Getting ready for outdoor play

10:00am–11:00 am Group B Outdoor play

10:00am–10:15 am Group A Cubby Transition/Diaper change/hand washing/offer water

10:15 am- 11:15 am Group A Programming/ Activities / Circle Time followed by hand wash

11:00am-11:15am Group B Cubby Transition /Diaper change /hand washing

11:15-11:45 pm Lunch time / hand washing one at a time after lunch

11:45am–12:15pm Getting ready for quiet time. Diaper check.

12:15pm-2:15 pm Rest time (Quiet activities are offered to those children that do not require rest)

2:15pm -2:45 pm Hand washing. Snack followed by hand washing one at a time

2:45pm-3:15 pm Diaper change, hand washing/Cubby Transition/Small groups

3:15pm – 4:00 p.m. Outdoor play – Group A and B stagger in small groups 5 minutes apart going
outside and coming in.

4:05 pm-4:30p.m. Cubby Transition/ Diaper Change and Hand washing. Water is offered

4:30pm – 5:00 pm Child chooses area to play in based on interest.

5:00pm-5:15pm Transition to Pre-school Room based on ratio. Age appropriate activities given.

5:30 pm – Dismissal

TODDLER ROOM 2 Downstairs
